The Elevate Teaching work will continue with renewed funding by PELSB.
After months of deep community engagement and community-centered research through the Elevate Teaching Movement, we are excited to announce that PELSB has recommitted to the continuation and expansion of the campaign designed to elevate the teaching profession and to recruit teachers, especially teachers of color and American Indian teachers.
Beyond a traditional marketing campaign, Elevate Teaching will continue to mobilize individuals, especially from BIPOC communities, to be champions of the teaching profession. Through this movement, the aim is to transform the public narrative about the profession and to elevate teaching to the reverence it deserves for our children and in our society, starting in Minnesota.

Join us for the first event of 2024, where we reconnect with Action Network to Elevate Teaching (ANET) community and delve into the exciting prospects of the second phase of our work at Elevate Teaching. Your feedback on the vision is crucial as we refine our direction for a robust Teacher Marketing and Outreach Campaign.

Thanks to your voices and engagement, Elevate Teaching was able to co-create an artist-designed and branded framework of 6 Key Messages & supporting ideas about the teaching profession. These ideas have the power to shift how we view, talk about and relate to teaching in a more nuanced and impactful way. We encourage you to explore the messages and find one or more that resonate with you.
