Elevate Teaching's Celebration & Launch Event [hybrid]

We are calling on all champions of the teaching profession to stand with us to acknowledge and co-create where we will pave the way forward together for the Elevate Teaching movement. The event will feature food, beverages, activities, creative performances, youth engagement, speakers, and sharing of new key messaging materials. It will also include a glimpse into the future of the Elevate Teaching movement. We’re so excited to share this time with you - you won’t want to miss it!

Action Network to Elevate Teaching (ANET) Third Virtual Convening
Wednesday February 15th, 2023: 10 AM CST or 3 PM CST
Our Action Network to Elevate Teaching (ANET) virtual convening is fast approaching on Wednesday, February 15th and will be offered at two times: 10 am - 12 noon CST and 3 pm - 5 pm CST. Please join Dr. Rose Wan-Mui Chu and the Elevate Teaching project team in the development of a state-sponsored recruitment and marketing campaign to elevate the teaching profession and increase the diversity of the teacher workforce in our state.
In this upcoming convening we will share exciting progress of the project: including our findings, marketing & messaging developments, advancements generated from previous convenings, and the many ANET circle conversations we have conducted to date. We will also share next steps in the project and additional opportunities for your involvement. Participants will also have a chance to connect with each other through several breakout activities.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you have attended our previous convenings. Your lived experiences and continued engagement are critical to the current campaign and long-term movement to transform the public narrative about the teaching profession. Together, we are developing messaging and content that will inspire the newest generation of teachers.
We look forward to seeing you!

Action Network to Elevate Teaching (ANET) Second Virtual Convening (Copy)
Wednesday November 2, 2022: 10AM or 3:00PM
Please join Dr. Rose Wan-Mui Chu and the Teacher Recruitment Marketing Campaign project team as we continue the development of a marketing campaign to elevate the teaching profession and increase the diversity of the teacher workforce in our state. This work, which is sponsored by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) is aimed primarily at high school and college students who are in the process of deciding their career paths, as well as adults seeking a career change. These efforts seek to continue to identify, confirm and address the incentives and motivations for individuals to enter and stay in the teaching profession, as well as the barriers that discourage them from exploring and continuing their professional journey in teaching and to help build a network of champions passionate about the teaching profession and equity in Minnesota.
We are excited to host the second of several Action Network to Elevate Teaching (ANET) Convenings to build on the work we did together in August and to share with you the TRMC project progress to date. Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you have attended our previous convening. Your lived experiences and continued engagement are critical to the current campaign and long-term movement to transform the public narrative about the teaching profession. Together, we hope to develop messages and content that will inspire the newest generation of teachers.
